New Theme Time

Published by Michael at 2:45 pm under General, Photography

Here it is! I thought it was about time to tidy up the site with a new theme and a new outlook on life. Please let me know what you think. If you liked the old one better, let me know that too. And if something is broken that I haven’t found yet, I would really appreciate the information.

And yes, I took the header photograph. It is sunrise over Ralston Creek here in Charleston, SC. If you want to see more of that shoot, you can check out my Flickr photo gallery.

Thanks again for your support and feedback.

There are some really gorgeous photos in your Flickr gallery. Nice sunsets and mist on the landscape. And a cute puppy, to boot!

And while I absolutely loved the image you used to have on your blog, I also really like the new theme. It seems like a no-brainer that a site called Postcards from Myself should feature art from places you’ve been. :)

@Haleyhughes - Thanks for the compliment, and the add as a friend in Flickr. And I agree, i miss the old photo now. I am thinking about still using in in someway. Either rotating the header photo between that one, this one, and a few others, or by somehow making a mural. Only time will tell!

@Ian - Well, we had tornadoes yesterday, but the rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful. Maybe a little rain on Wednesday, but otherwise great. Hope they enjoy their time here! And the week after will be spring break for the kids and me!
