That is exactly what I am doing Michael. Unitarian*Universalists publicly claim to be great defenders of civil liberties and, more specifically, to be opposed to censorship by church, state or any other institution in their tracts but Montreal Unitarians, the UUA and various other U*Us, including some U*U clergy, have repeatedly behaved in ways that make a total mockery of those claims. U*US have repeatedly sought to censor and suppress my legitimate criticism of serious problems within the Unitarian*Universalist religious community, even going so far as to bring trumped up criminal charges against me in misguided efforts to force and end to my public protest outside the Unitarian Church of Montreal.

In fact I am currently in the process of contesting [name deleted]'s deeply misguided effort to obtain a restraining order against me on the highly questionable retext that she has "reasonable grounds" to fear that I will commit a "serious personal injury offence" against her. The prosecution phase of that hearing/trial is now closed and I expect to present my defence against rev. [name deleted>]s dubious charges on May 30th unless the Crown prosecutor pulls a fast one and tries to drop the demand for the restraining order in order to prevent me from presenting a defence. Through their well documented words and actions Montreal Unitarians, the UUA, and other U*Us have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that, contrary to the claims made in their religious propaganda, they are actually very much in favor of misusing and abusing the criminal laws of the state (to say nothing of municipal bylaws. . .) in order to impose church censorship on my constitutionally guaranteed peaceful public protest activities outside the Unitarian Church of Montreal. I am quite confident that I will once again prevail against U*U attempts to use the state as a proxy to impose U*U church censorship on me.

I find it most ironic, and more than a little bit disturbing, that I have been forced to repeatedly defend my own civil rights and liberties, and ultimately those of my fellow Canadian citizens. . . as a direct result of outrageously hypocritical and deeply misguided attempts by Montreal Unitarian*Universalists (almost certainly with the encouragement and approval of the UUA) to misuse and abuse the Canadian Criminal Code and Montreal municipal bylaws to undermine or over-ride my Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guaranteed right to engage in peaceful public protest. In fact I was in court yesterday to contest fines that I had received for doing nothing more than write some chalk protest slogans on the sidewalk in front of the alleged Unitarian Church of Montreal. Unitarian*Universalists who genuinely care about preserving and upholding civil rights and freedoms should be very concerned by how Montreal Unitarians and the UUA have tried to undermine constitutionally guaranteed civil rights and freedoms, or have otherwise enaged in censorship and suppression of criticism and dissent. I would encourage you and other U*Us to enter into a free and responsible search into the truth and meaning of my allegations here and to then share your concerns with the Unitarian Church of Montreal and the UUA. Through their cynical attempts to censor and suppress my criticiosm and dissent Montreal Unitarian U*Us, the UUA, and rather to many other hypocritical U*Us have seriously compromised the Unitarian*Universalist religious community's ability to pretend to be a great defender of civil rights and liberties.

As long as you are turning that magnifying glass back around, that is fine! I fully admit that things go too far on both sides. A little common sense goes a long way.

Well I'm doing my bit to prevent outrageously hypocritical U*Us from trampling all over civil rights and liberties. . .
