About Me
I am Michael Carnell. There, that is settled! I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. When I graduated from the College of Charleston I lived for six months in Savannah, Georgia, before moving to Atlanta and getting married. We lived in Atlanta for about three and a half years, then moved back to Charleston where we have been ever since.
My interests are varied but include writing, attempting photography, messing around with old European cars, watching soccer of all varieties, and doing as much traveling as possible.
At the moment I drive an 2001 Ford Escape - not exotic, but practical for my needs. I had beautiful brand new 2002 MINI Cooper S that I brought home on July 13th, 2002. I loved that car! To see it just go to My Mini’s Website. In addition I had a 1977 MG B that was put on the road after about 3 1/2 years of work. On the work and computer side, I am the Information Systems Manager for a medium sized real estate and private club company here in Charleston. I also do computer systems and Internet consulting work, write technical review, and am pushing to develop my writing career into a larger part of my focus.
